Ingredients

  • 4 bagels, halved
  • 8 strips beef bacon (or turkey bacon)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the beef bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, fresh chives, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the cream cheese mixture to taste. Spread a generous layer of the mixture on each half of the bagels.
  4. Once the beef bacon is crispy, crumble it over the cream cheese mixture on the bagel halves.
  5. Place the assembled bagels on a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy warm with your favorite toppings!
