- 4 bagels, halved
- 8 strips beef bacon (or turkey bacon)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the beef bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, fresh chives, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Add salt and pepper to the cream cheese mixture to taste. Spread a generous layer of the mixture on each half of the bagels.
- Once the beef bacon is crispy, crumble it over the cream cheese mixture on the bagel halves.
- Place the assembled bagels on a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy warm with your favorite toppings!
