This light and refreshing Brazilian-inspired wellness drink combines simple ingredients like apple cider vinegar, lemon, and ginger to support digestion, energy, and metabolism.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
½ lemon, juiced
½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 cup warm or room-temperature water
¼ teaspoon butterfly pea flower (optional)
¼ teaspoon camu camu powder (optional)
1 teaspoon brewed yerba mate, cooled (optional)
Instructions
1. In a glass, combine apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
2. Stir in the grated ginger and sweetener, if using, until dissolved.
3. Pour in warm or room-temperature water.
4. If using any optional add-ins, stir them in now. For butterfly pea flower, steep separately and strain before adding.
5. Mix well and enjoy immediately, preferably on an empty stomach.
6. To serve chilled, pour over ice and garnish with lemon or mint.
Notes
Room temperature water helps dissolve ingredients more easily and is gentler on digestion.
