Description

Deliciously Flavorful and Simple to Make, these wraps are loaded with gooey cheese, fresh garlic, and tender chicken, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and bell pepper; cook for about 3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until heated through, about 3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture. Stir gently until cheese melts and becomes gooey.
  6. Lay one tortilla flat, spoon the chicken-cheese mixture into the center, and wrap it tightly.
  7. Place the wrap back in the skillet, seam side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  8. Cut each wrap in half and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can substitute tortillas with lettuce leaves for a low-carb option.
