Description
Deliciously cozy Chicken Alfredo served in crispy garlic bread bowls, perfect for family dinners or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large soft Italian bread rolls
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the tops off the Italian bread rolls and hollow out the insides to create bowls. Brush the outsides with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens slightly and is glossy.
- Fold in the diced chicken, allowing it to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Spoon the Alfredo chicken mixture into each hollowed bread roll.
- Place the filled rolls in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the bread is golden and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for optimal crispiness. Substitute chicken with turkey or shrimp for a twist.
