Description

Deliciously cozy Chicken Alfredo served in crispy garlic bread bowls, perfect for family dinners or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large soft Italian bread rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the Italian bread rolls and hollow out the insides to create bowls. Brush the outsides with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens slightly and is glossy.
  5. Fold in the diced chicken, allowing it to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Spoon the Alfredo chicken mixture into each hollowed bread roll.
  7. Place the filled rolls in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until the bread is golden and slightly crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for optimal crispiness. Substitute chicken with turkey or shrimp for a twist.
