Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
3. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and almond extract until smooth.
4. Gently combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
5. Fold in sprinkles, taking care not to overmix.
6. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. Whisk powdered sugar, buttermilk, and corn syrup to make glaze.
9. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread and finish with nonpareils.
