Description

A clean, protein-packed gelatin drink inspired by Dr. Mark Hyman’s food-as-medicine philosophy, crafted to promote fullness and curb cravings when enjoyed before meals.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder (grass-fed preferred)

1/2 cup hot water (not boiling)

1/2 cup cold water

Optional: 1–2 tsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

Optional: natural sweetener (stevia or monk fruit)

Optional: grated ginger or turmeric

Instructions

1. Heat 1/2 cup water until hot but not boiling.

2. Sprinkle gelatin while whisking to avoid clumps.

3. Add lemon juice, ACV, or sweetener.

4. Pour in cold water and stir well.

5. Drink warm, or refrigerate 15–30 minutes for soft gel.

6. Consume 20–30 minutes before a meal.

Notes

Not an official Dr. Hyman recipe. Inspired by functional nutrition principles. Store gel cups in the fridge for up to 4 days. Try plant-based swaps like chia or agar.
