- 1 large wheel of Brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Crackers or sliced baguette (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, chopped pecans, brown sugar, orange juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until cranberries begin to burst and mixture thickens, about 5–7 minutes.
- Place the Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet and lightly score the top.
- Brush the top of the Brie with beaten egg.
- Spoon the cranberry-pecan mixture on top of the Brie.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until gooey and slightly golden.
- Cool slightly before serving with crackers or sliced baguette.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving for the best texture. Feel free to substitute fresh cranberries with dried or swap pecans with walnuts.
