Description
These Green & Red Christmas Deviled Eggs are the perfect festive appetizer—creamy, colorful, and easy to make for holiday parties.
Ingredients
6 hard-boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1/4 tsp ground mustard
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
Paprika for garnish
Red food coloring
Green food coloring
Instructions
1. Boil the eggs: Add to a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then cover and let sit 10–12 minutes. Cool and peel.
2. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out yolks.
3. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
4. Add 5 drops red food coloring to one bowl of water, and 5 green to another. Soak whites for 10–15 minutes.
5. Remove whites, pat dry.
6. Pipe or spoon yolk filling back into dyed egg whites.
7. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before serving.
8. Sprinkle with paprika just before serving.
Notes
Use a star piping tip for extra visual flair.
For intense color, let egg whites sit longer in the dye.
Try topping with bacon, chives, or microgreens for added flavor.
