Description

Delicious holiday treats combining classic Oreo flavor with a vibrant red velvet twist, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (single-stuffed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • ¼ cup crushed peppermint (optional for garnish)
  • Green food coloring (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the Red Velvet Oreos into a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese, mixing well until thick and dough-like.
  3. Shape Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  6. Coat the Balls: Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring even coverage. Remove excess with a fork and place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  7. Decorate: Add crushed peppermint or a drizzle of colored chocolate on top for a festive look before the chocolate hardens.
  8. Set: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process. Enjoy once set!

Notes

Store Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. They freeze well too.
