Description

A gut-friendly, Mark Hyman–inspired gelatin recipe designed to support satiety and digestion. No gimmicks—just real food, simply prepared.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon grass-fed, unflavored gelatin powder

½ cup hot water

½ cup cold water or unsweetened herbal tea

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)

A few drops of stevia or monk fruit (optional)

Instructions

1. Pour hot water into a glass or small bowl.

2. Slowly sprinkle the gelatin powder over the hot water, whisking to prevent clumps.

3. Stir until the gelatin completely dissolves.

4. Add the cold water (or cooled herbal tea) and lemon juice. Stir well.

5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until set.

6. Eat one portion about 15–20 minutes before a meal.

Notes

For a firmer texture, reduce cold liquid or pour into molds.

To enhance gut benefits, use bone broth instead of cold water.
