Description
A rich, chocolatey protein mug cake with just 3 ingredients. Ready in 2 minutes, it’s the perfect healthy dessert or post-workout snack.
Ingredients
1 scoop protein powder (chocolate, vanilla, or any flavor you like)
½ teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
1–2 teaspoon sweetener of your choice (optional)
1 large egg
1–2 tablespoon water or non-dairy milk

Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together protein powder and baking powder. Stir in cocoa powder and sweetener, if using.
2. Stir in egg until mixture is smooth.
3. Add water or milk to thin out consistency and stir to combine.
4. Microwave on high for 30–40 seconds. Add 5-second increments until top of cake is mostly dry.
5. Top as desired and enjoy warm.

Use a protein powder with a flavor you love.
Avoid overcooking to keep it moist and fluffy.
Try adding nut butter, chocolate chips, or berries before microwaving.
