Description

These easy Sausage & Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms are made with just three ingredients and are perfect for parties, holidays, or weeknight snacks. Rich, creamy, and savory, they’re guaranteed to disappear in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

½ pound ground pork sausage

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, stems removed

Instructions

1. Preheat the broiler.

2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Drain and cool slightly.

3. Mix the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese until smooth.

4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the sausage mixture.

5. Arrange on a baking sheet and broil for 2 to 3 minutes, or until tops are golden and bubbly.

Notes

Use spicy sausage for a kick or turkey sausage for a lighter version.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

To reheat, bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes instead of microwaving.
