Description

A refreshing and healthy detox drink made with watermelon, cucumber, and lemon. Naturally hydrating, sugar-free, and packed with skin-boosting nutrients.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups cubed watermelon

1 large English cucumber, peeled and sliced

½ cup fresh lemon juice

¼ cup fresh basil or mint (optional)

¼ teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

Ice cubes

Sparkling or still water

Optional garnishes: cucumber slices, watermelon wedges, herbs

Instructions

1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.

2. Cut watermelon into cubes and remove seeds if needed.

3. Peel and slice the cucumber.

4. Juice lemons and grate the ginger if using.

5. Place all items in a blender and blend until smooth.

6. Strain using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a pitcher.

7. Taste and adjust with a small amount of sweetener or lemon juice if needed.

8. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to chill.

9. Serve over ice and top with water.

10. Garnish and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge. Use frozen watermelon chunks instead of ice to avoid dilution. Freeze juice in trays for single servings.
